環境農学　１年次　前期

目的と内容および到達目標

身近なトピックを通して、英語の4スキル（ listening, speaking, reading, writing ）を学ぶ。従来の翻訳型英語学習を離れ、すべて英語のテキストを通じて自然な英語にふれ、英語の質の向上をはかる。

到達目標は以下のとおりである。
・academic and professional life に向けて、4スキル向上をはかる。
・ｄocumentary videos, short films等の視聴を通じて実用的な英語表現を身につける。

単位数

１単位、授業回数：１５回

講義の進め方

授業では、グループワーク、プレゼンテーション練習、real-life documentary videosの視聴などを取り入れ、受け身の学びではなく、各自が積極的に参加できるように進める。また、授業は主に英語で行う。

試験と成績評価

試験（ライティング50％・オーラル30％）
ユニット毎に提出するリアクションペーパー（10％）
授業への参加（意欲・発表）状況（10％）

担当教員から受講生諸君へ

外国語学習は環境と勉強の継続が大切である。授業中はできるだけ英語を使うように心がけて欲しい。
また、週1回の授業を有効なものにするため、各自、テキストについているOnline practiceなどを活用して、日常的に英語の勉強をして欲しい。
